I got an email from a visitor the other night that I wanted to share.  Obviously I’m not going to give his name but I’ll touch on what the email was about.

The email was from a Dad who has two daughters – one is 17 and the other is 14 years old.  Both of these daughters have mobile phones that he pays for and in his words “they are texting maniacs!”

About 9 months ago he started seeing some behaviour changes in his oldest daughter.  She was pulling back, had a new group of friends, changed the way she dressed to a “goth” look and was becoming very distant from him and his wife.  This scared them because they were worried that she was letting her grades slip and that she was getting involved with drugs.

They installed a mobile phone spying program on both of their daughter’s phones as a way to monitor them (they weren’t really worreid about the 14 year old but figured they would use it on her phone as well)

Well they saw a string of text messages that gave them a whole new look into their daughter’s life.  Not only was she using drugs, but her and two other friends were planning to “run away” to a city that was 200 miles away.

As you can imagine, this shocked them!  But they knew one thing for sure – they had to act – and fast!

Although he didn’t go into a lot of detail about what they did, the story does have a happy ending.  They were able to connect with their daughter and prevent her from skipping town.  And she has slowly returned to her old self.  She’s open with her parents, her grades are going up and she doesn’t show signs of drug use.

They are extremely thankful that they used mobile phone spying software as it let them “save” their daughter and get her on the right path.
